Sophia is currently a Video Systems Designer specializing in VFX at Walt Disney Live Entertainment. Her work spans a diverse range of projects, including stage shows, immersive experiences, interactive events, and nighttime spectaculars. Recent credits include The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After at Disney's Hollywood Studios, as well as contributions to Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular
Passionate about the intersection of emerging technologies and storytelling, Sophia is driven to create unforgettable experiences. She enjoys collaborating, experimenting, and ideating the future of technology's place in entertainment and experience. Like everyone else, she admires spectacle but seeks to truly integrate guest experience with video technology in meaningful ways.
Sophia brings a unique blend of artistic and technical expertise to her work. With a foundation in creative design for theatrical entertainment and growing experience in theme parks and immersive attractions, she is committed to building a shared language between creative and technical collaborators. She finds energy in bridging disciplines and reimagining the collaborative process.
Sophia partially completed a BFA in Design & Production with a focus in Video Media Design at Carnegie Mellon's School of Drama (2021–2024) before receiving an offer for her role with Disney Live Entertainment. Supported by her advisors to transition into the professional industry a year earlier than planned, she took the leap. She is currently completing a degree online in Information Systems Management at New York University.

- Working as a full-season content creator at The Muny (Municipal Theatre of St. Louis) in 2022. Productions included: Chicago, Camelot, Mary Poppins, Sweeney Todd, Legally Blonde, The Color Purple, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Sophia focused on LED scenic video, color, and 2d animation.
- "a dinner party for you-and me?". The piece highlights the importance of creating your own seat at the table as an artist. It sought to build resonance and emphasize the importance of art as a form of protest for young generations. It utilized AR environments in Adobe Aero to bring students together globally. The piece's first iteration was presented at Carnegie Mellon's Playground Festival in December 2021 and had the honor of being showcased at the international Prague Quadrennial in June 2023 in the Emerging Artists division
